1. Who we are
convocept.com is the product site for Convocept, a WordPress plugin by Foxe Labs LLP, Kerala, India. For anything in this policy, contact support@foxelabs.com.
2. This website
convocept.com is a static site. It has no accounts, no analytics or advertising trackers, and sets no cookies. Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) may be kept briefly by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for security and operations.
Your theme preference (dark or light) is stored in your own browser's localStorage and never sent to us.
3. The newsletter
If you subscribe, we store your email address with Resend, the service we use to send the newsletter, under its own privacy policy. We use it only to send Convocept news and never share or sell it. To limit abuse, the signup form briefly checks your IP address against a rate limit; it is not stored with your subscription.
Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete your address at any time by email.
4. The plugin
The Convocept plugin runs entirely on your own WordPress site. It does not phone home, load third-party scripts or track readers. The one outside request is WordPress's own Gravatar avatars, while Show Avatars is on in Settings → Discussion; with it off, the plugin shows initials. Comments and subscriptions are stored in your site's database, and the plugin includes WordPress personal data exporters and erasers so you can answer your own readers' requests.
If a future version adds an optional feature that uses an external service, it will be off until you turn it on, the plugin will say so in its settings and readme, and that provider's policy will apply.
5. Support
When you email support or post on the WordPress.org forum, we keep the correspondence so we can help you and improve the plugin. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone for marketing.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy or deletion of the personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing support@foxelabs.com.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the blog.
