1. Who we are
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Foxe Labs LLP ("Foxe Labs", "we", "us"), a limited liability partnership based in Kerala, India. They govern your use of convocept.com, its blog and newsletter, and the Convocept WordPress plugin.
By using the site or the software, you accept these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or the software.
2. The software
The Convocept plugin is free software, distributed through WordPress.org under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. The GPL sets out your rights to use, study, modify and share the code; nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
Paid add-ons are planned but not yet on sale. When they launch, these Terms will be updated with the rules for purchases, licences and refunds before anything can be bought.
3. The newsletter
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we email you about Convocept releases and related writing. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. How we handle your address is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use the site or its forms to send spam, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, or overload our services. Security research is welcome when reported privately to support@foxelabs.com.
5. Comparisons and third-party names
Comparison pages describe other products from their public documentation and pricing on the date shown. Product names such as Disqus, wpDiscuz and ReplyBox belong to their owners and are used only to identify those products. If something is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
6. Intellectual property
The Convocept and Foxe Labs names, logos, site design, and written content are owned by Foxe Labs LLP. The plugin code is yours to use under its GPL licence. Blog posts and documentation may be quoted with attribution and a link; wholesale republishing is not permitted.
7. Warranty disclaimer
The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work hard to ship reliable software, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every theme, plugin, or environment. Always keep backups and test updates on a staging site first.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foxe Labs LLP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including lost profits, lost data, or lost rankings — arising from your use of the site or software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim arose, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing.
9. Termination
We may suspend access to the newsletter or support if you materially breach these Terms. Your rights under the GPL survive, as that licence provides.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India.
